Does applying under the RD for rhodes a disadvantage? What I mean by disadvantage is that they can only accept a few amount of people compare to EA, ED I AND ED II because they're filling spots that are not already taken by EA, ED, and EDII.

Anyone?

Admission rates at Rhodes are as follows: ED 89%, EA 69%, RD 42%. Why is this? Not sure, but I suspect demonstrating interest in the school is one factor. There are likely many others.

DS was an RD applicant and got a phone call earlier today (Saturday!) from Rhodes saying he has been accepted. He was told that financial packages would not be released until April 10. He has other good offers already so Rhodes’ timing is awkward but we are pleased for him.
