Congratulations to the students admitted to the Class of 2012! Decision letters were mailed on March 26 and financial aid awards will be mailed by April 10. We had a large and very talented group of applications at Lafayette College this year.

Decisions on our academic scholarships have been made and congratulatory letters to the recipients were mailed on March 11. The competition was incredibly keen and the task of selecting these scholars was both rewarding and difficult. We applaud the scholarship recipients for their outstanding performance and hope they choose to come to Lafayette!

LOL! C'mon Coop you expect me to keep track of all of these dates? I'm confused enough already and it looks like my decision is going to be made by FA. And so the wait continues....

You should know every admissions/financial aid/enrollment/housing selection date off of the top of your head!

What, not everyone does this???

(And, yes, this is sarcasm. :D )

Well, I'd think you'd go to Lafayette.edu first...

Good luck, I hope Lafayette is able to meet your FA needs :)

accepted yesterday in PA like 50 min away from lafayette! =]

Rewrets, I got mine today.

Hey, Peanut. Tough break, kiddo. Ironically, I tried to get my son to look at McGill, but he didn't want to hear about it. I worked briefly in Canada and spent some time in Montreal. I loved it there. McGill is an excellent school in a wonderful city. Whatever it's worth, I consider an acceptance from McGill to be a real trophy.

Regardless of the form, rejection stinks. It's painful when a potential date says no or when a parent can't take you somewhere you're dying to visit. It happens to all of us though, so don't feel singled out. I think you're very lucky to have been accepted by a great school like McGill.

Twin1 and Twin2 both got acceptance packets today! Nice letter with Leopard Burgundy ink.

accepted today! :)

D2 received acceptance today!

The acceptance are still coming out?? Since I heard nothing till today I though I was being rejected here. The admission process has been so crazy for me. Waitlists and rejections tht I can't fathom.
This weekend, I am gonna pray tht I get accepted at Lafayette. If not I will be studying at Ramapo (full ride) probably, but studying at Lafayette will be an incredible opportunity still.

thanks minky :) yeah, im upset but i think all of the inexplicable waitlists/rejections if gotten are just an indicator of where im really meant to be...

congrats to everyone accepted as well.

Thanks Peanutbutter, I'm sorry for your news though, but I honestly believe, as cliche as it is, that everything happens for a reason. This has been a tough ride for all of us. Best of luck to all on whatever decisions are made.

Just another comment, the Lafayette letter was the only personalized acceptance letter I received. They made references to specific details in my essay, asked me to stay involved in my sports and music and congratulated me on my college courses. This was a really nice touch, I hope my FA package is good because Lafayette is moving up my list.
