isnt it normally about 48k a year? sounds pretty good to me...

some people just cant afford the price. my friend got accepted to bc, and they expect her to pay 29k a year, even though shes "dirt poor"

Just got the mail for today and still nothing from BC. Not even a rejection or waitlist. Just ...nothing. Has everyone else from the Atlanta area already heard one way or the other? I saw someone from Tampa got an acceptance, so I would think an Atlanta mailing, especially a tiny little rejection, would have arrived already. Weird and frustrating. BC is one of D's 2 top choices but now the cost of plane tickets will make the admitted student's day out of reach. On the off chance that BC is still interested in her, they have a strange way of showing it. Of course if they are rejecting her, they have certainly come across an effective way to convey their feelings. Sorry, I guess the waiting has gotten to me and seeing others who live farther away already knowing their decisions is rough.

Besides the 4/15 date, there is also an Admitted Eagle Day on 4/22 if that helps. Good luck!

No decision again today in Missouri. It is frustrating to wait when others further from Boston already know. Were the acceptances sent Priority Mail or regular mail? What about waitlisted letters?

Decision: Wait listed

oh yeah, and I live an hour away from campus and I just got my letter today

Another day passes and still no word. At this point I'm assuming it will be a rejection, but I just wish they'd get it over with. Like pulling off a bandaid slowly. Every other college has had their act together enough to get their letters out by now I think. What is BC's excuse for leaving kids hanging like this? On the off chance that an acceptance does arrive, I think the bitter taste from being treated like this will keep D from even considering BC. Other colleges have been sending letters encouraging her to attend for weeks now, but BC can't be bothered to even respond to her application by April 3? Meanwhile other people's letters were mailed out almost a week ago? Do they have no concept of how this makes kids and their parents feel? Do they even care? Nope. Guess not! There's always another family standing in line with a full checkbook, so what difference does one make? Obviously, none.

And thanks to SDMom for the reply. Looks like we won't need to worry about either visitation day afterall though.

Nothing today, again. I agree with the post above. The more days they make us wait, the more attracted I am to other colleges.
