<p>I’ve been wanting to go to GW for three years now so I really hope all the financial aid works out too!</p>
<p>Accepted with 20k. What do you think are the chances that I could call them and negotiate a slightly higher scholarship? 40k/yr is still pretty pricey for my Dad’s taste. :(</p>
<p>Rejected with 3.5 and 1930 SAT. Also I’m a legacy. Would’ve like to at least been wait listed.</p>

<p>Accepted at NYU, FSU, UMD, UMass. Rejected at Boston U and Georgetown. Will be attending the University College London.</p>

I had a lot of ECs and good essays, I was really disappointed because I thought it was a really good fit and I actually wanted to go here. </p>
<p>The weird thing is, GW looks at all of the applicants from a school and compares them side-by-side. My friend was accepted with lower test scores, a lower gpa, less rigorous classes, and fewer ECs. And the same major.</p>
<p>@donewithnh GW has been known to do that. You just never know who they’re going to choose. </p>

<p>@Gwhopeful123 I emailed and they said that they are looking into it and it should be fixed by early next week at the latest and to just keep checking back.</p>
<p>Is it possible to get grant money in the letter from the mail? Or will it just be financial aid? </p>
<p>Will there be any grant other than the scholarship in the mail?</p>
