Hey. Does anybody know when we should expect to hear from Rochester about our regular decision acceptances?

Notification is mid-March

When my oldest applied for class of 2010 his acceptance letter was dated 3/8. I think he received it right around 3/15.

last year people started getting decisions around March 2

here's the thread...http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-rochester/306387-accepted.html

I know that the people who are considered for the premed/med program hear this week. I live in Rochester and haven't heard anything.

I just got accepted today! I applied RD and I live in Syracuse, NY. Nice big envelope with the acceptance in front and a folder and everything.

Congratulations!!!!

Congratulations. Wow can't wait to get it I live in Syracuse too. I'm getting nervous now. Did the financial aid package come with the acceptance?

Yeah same question here, did the financial aid package come with the acceptance letter?

I just talked to UR a while ago and they said that you may receive it on the same day, but it will come a few days after your acceptance letter.

I didn't get any financial aid information with my acceptance. Hopefully that will be arriving in a few days and it will be good!

Starting Mid-March? That's earlier than I thought...

I think about 7 people from my high school applied RD, and yesterday 2 of us found out. I guess March 6 is now considered mid-march

got accepted today :D
didn't get the financial aid info yet though

I live in "downstate" NY and got my acceptance letter today! No financial stuff thoughh....

So the first batch has gone out already...I can't wait

accepted! w00t
yeah no fin aid or scholarship stuff

Yay, accepted as well! I also got no mention of scholarships or financial aid, but no one else getting it either boosts my hopes. :)

Cruel and unusual punishment in our house today. D received acceptance packet and my S (her twin) didn't hear. We figure it means one acceptance and one rejection, or it could be because D plans an arts and sciences major and S plans an engineering major.

Can't speak to why, but last year my D was accepted more mid-later March, rather than early March. I think they truly do send it out in batches...and she received a scholarship as well, so that wasn't a defining factor in terms of timing. I wouldn't assume that your S will not be accepted.
