Hey guys! have any of you that applied RD heard back already? If so, when did you apply? My FA status was changed from “received” to “completed.” Does that mean they have all the necessary documents?
Hi @collegebound1333 I am an EA deferred applicant and I received a financial aid email saying that my FA was completed as well. I read that other RD applicants who were accepted received this email before their acceptance. I wonder if it’s a good sign?? #crossingfingers
@onmyway1 shouldn’t ea applicants be getting their decisions before rd? the lmu admissions office seems to sending out admissions decisions very sporadically
@onmyway1 I hope so! I’m getting very anxious. Where have you read that RD applicants received the FA email before their acceptances. I’m definitely going to be crossing my fingers.
@harrycrow I’ve heard from friends in past years that they found the LMU admissions office to be very disorganized. I’ve also heard they notify applicants on a random basis as well.
@collegebound1333 @harrycrow I like how we’re all talking to each other on different forums haha 
But it’s weird my friend only heard that she got accepted via regular mail while another friend found out that he got in via email. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see 
but let’s definitely keep each other updated on our status.

My friends’ myPAW still didn’t update to “Admitted” even though they got accepted through EA. It still says “Currently under Review” for them.

I was accepted RD a few days ago and I can confirm that I received a financial aid email a few hours before receiving my “Welcome to LMU” acceptance email. Also, for two days after the email my status still said “under review”
I got accepted last week as a Film Production major via email, then regular mail a couple days later! I applied on December 31. I have a friend who applied at around the same time and got his acceptance on the same day as I did.

GPA: 3.9 unweighted
ACT: 32
SAT: 1870
7 APs total (AP Euro, AP Lang, AP Bio, APUSH, AP Lit, AP Calc AB, AP Gov)

onmyway1 I’m pretty sure that that is in fact a good sign. I received that email this morning around 9am and received my acceptance email at 2:30! Good luck 
From what i have seen people have gotten the completed email and acceptance on the same day, but many just got the completed email on the 5th… i wonder if that was an overall applicant thing
