Has anyone heard their decisions yet?

Anyone know HOW we will get the news: emails, regular mail, or phone calls?

When should they be coming? Any likely letters out there yet?

GOOD LUCK to us all!!! :)

GOOD LUCK to us all!!! :)

They'll come regular mail, and it'll probably be as close to April 1 as possible before you get it. I think they've gone to using "big envelopes" now for accepted students (when I got in, it just came in a normal business-sized envelope, which was a little startling).

juba2juve, are you sure? I really hope not. It takes FOREVER to get mail where I live. We're talking 3 weeks minimum if sent regular. 2 weeks if sent priority.

I'm almost certain I read somewhere that they e-mail you a pin number (similar to the online site interview) and you check it using that...

^No, I do not think so.

I have a couple of friends who got admitted ED and EA and they only got notified via snail mail.

Oh, wow. That really sucks. :(

Yeah...I got mine in the mail, over a week after the date they gave me, with no email notification or anything, and it was in a small envelope. It was a really tense week for me, especially since there was no mention of anything helpful at all on the website.

^And I only live about 2 1/2 hours away from Wake.

Yeah, as much as we use technology around campus and even for interviewing applicants, I find it a little funny that they don't use emails or a pin process to notify people.

i heard march 25.... i just asked today actually... i live in winston salem and she said they will be notifying at the end of the month

I e-mailed Admissions. Decision letters will be sent 1st class mail the last week in March.
:(

yeps! this month scares me

When my older son got in 3 years ago he was away on a school trip...the acceptance came in a huge envelope that said "Congratulations" or "Welcome to Wake Forest," which was fun.

^^yeah that sounds fun. I was sleeping over at my friend's house and somebody called me and said that I got a letter from WFU... so I was like oh my god don't open it yet don't open it i'll be there in a minute...and that was really fun lol

So Hucmenzo - what was in the envelope????

josie17 - well there was of course a letter saying Congratulations! you come to WFU woohoo!! and a booklet introducing dormitories plus a little card asking for some $500 deposit:( oh i forgot to mention the WFU logo sticker. lol

yeah but that was like 3 months ago...because I did ED. it doesn't mean RD's are out yet. im sorry if i confused u

wow, the decision date's kind of late. I thought only the Ivies would keep their applicants waiting for so long

Wow. All I got was a congradulations letter. But then, the decision wasn't binding so I guess it would make sense to not ask for the deposit and what not. Though I am bummed out about the sticker...

when did you receive the letter?

Mid-January. I applied with the direct connection app that they said was offered to students NC, which gave me an early non-binding decision, but it's not mentioned. Anywhere. I couldn't find any info on it online.
