RD notification????

sac I saw that you called admissions earlier? Did they sound like they were truthful when they said everything was sent of at the same time?

also, I never did any type of interview whatsoever. I know not a good thing but I wasn’t prepared for the written one. Anyways, they did mention in an email that not doing an interview could cause a delay in hearing back.

Yes, they did, I don’t think he would have any reason to not be truthful, he was also kind and understood the concern, nervousness, etc. I hope I’m not nieve but really did take him at his word, it would be awful if he was just saying that to get people off the phone.

I did an interview, visited the campus twice, once officially (did the tour, interview, info session) and once unofficially (attending a friend’s sporting event)…the waiting is torture

another thing that gives me hope is the fact that not one kid from nc has posted they got rejected which would mean that the rejection letters would not be out yet an d I doubt t they would wait to at least April 1 to mail out rejections.

I visited Wake in June and had an interview, did the tour, and info session. Really liked it a lot. Have emailed the band director about joining their band, but don’t know if I will be admitted yet; the envelope hasn’t arrived yet.

Good luck to anyone else who hasn’t gotten notification yet! We can still hope! :)

Guys, really. Don’t give up hope. Rejects/admits should be mailed at the same speed. Your local/district post offices just fail, that’s all.

bosoxnm3…I am right there with you…hope is the best thing we can do at this point

Yeah my acceptance wasn’t prioritized, so I’m sure they come at the same speed. It’s weird that only acceptances have been posted though…

I didn’t do the written interview, and I got accepted yesterday. I do not think that not doing the written interview is an issue.

Thanks for the encouraging words, y’all. I will keep the faith until the envelope comes. You give me hope!!! :)

Yeah first class mail seems to come slow, but it usually takes like 3-4 days? so maybe Wed is still an option. People in Southern Cal seem to have gotten it already, so I suppose its just my local post office

Swiss Miss, wishing you the best of luck in getting accepted to Wake Forest.

Yeah, I’m definitely rooting for you swissmiss!

I am thinking about and hoping for good things for all those still waiting to hear. Last week when I wasn’t sure I would be home this week, (upper midwest flooding) I called admissions to ask about getting my decision over the phone. They said I could call back on Wednesday (Tomm) as that was plenty of time for the mail to have arrived. So if you have not heard you may want to call Admissions.

The acceptance package said that financial aid info will be arriving mid-april. Isn’t that kind of late? I was hoping for all the acceptance and FA info to be out by april 1st so that I can make a decision and be done with all this

Yeah, I thought that was late, too.

But maybe mid-April means like next week or something?

FA is pretty important to me as well so I’m really impatient waiting for my FA. =]

To all those waiting, I called admissions offices to find out when/why I had not heard, and I was informed that a batch of letters was lost by the postal service, and would be re-mailed for notification around friday. I am in Massachusetts.
This was a major let down, especially since they already had errors on their part on my ED application.

That’s reassuring. I’m was worried by the fact that the rest of California seemed to have gotten their letters already. But at least they aren’t sending out rejections later. That part scared me. =(

Thanks for being so supportive and positive, guys.
And thanks, ap2013, for taking the time to call their admissions office to learn about the lost letters.
Now we don’t have to worry that the lack of a letter automatically means we’re rejected.

CONGRATULATIONS to everybody who got IN!!! Good luck to all of us still waiting!
