I just received a financial aid package today, so you probably won’t have to wait til mid-april if you got your stuff in early.
I am a little bummed because i didn’t get as much as i expected :(

ap2013: To all those waiting, I called admissions offices to find out when/why I had not heard, and I was informed that a batch of letters was lost by the postal service, and would be re-mailed for notification around friday.

Wait, how do they know which letters the postal service lost? That seems strange, especially if they were all mailed on the same day.

Anyways, I just got the mail today and still nothing from WFU.

Waitlisted. meh i dont know what do.

Hey Caheir what was ur stats do you mind posting. Im like dying cuz havn’t heard back yet. i have a feeling im gonna get waitlisted too :(

haha I STILL haven’t gotten my letter yet. But at least I’m into Georgetown :)

I just called Admissions and the woman said all letters were sent on Friday and she was not aware that anything got lost. She said if there is a problem, it is with the postal service, not with WFU. She also said their phone is ringing off the hook with people calling to say they did not receive their letters. So at least I am not the only one missing my letter. :(

sounds like Wake needs to have a back-up plan, on they’re site they say April 1st for decision letters…wonder how many still don’t know.

oops…they’re = their

Yeah I still didn’t get anything today and I live in New Jersey…

The admissions lady said that they should be in our mailboxes within the next couple of days.

Tell you what, let’s call them and say that we’ll forgive everything if they send fat envelopes to those of us waiting?! ;)

I like that idea very much. Haha but honestly I’m not surprised. Mail gets lost all the time, especially if they send it all out at once… -___-

Have not heard anything. There were 2 accepts for classmates on Monday. I am accepted at Emory and Boston College but Wake is my first choice.

bbbgirl same. My friend got accepted on Monday, another one of my classmates got accepted on Tuesday but a friend of mine and I are still waiting to hear back from WFU. Its getting harder and harder to wait.

I am glad to see a few people on here that got into schools that are probably harder to get into than WF. It gives me hope these aren’t all rejection letters.

they just said that there was a batch of letters that had been lost by the postal service, not wake… I am only relaying what admissions has told me and i know a few people around me that have heard and a few that have not.

Two children applied. One accepted earlier this week. Second received wait list yesterday. Sounds like mail from here on will be wait list or rejection for those that did not hear on Monday/Tuesday.

Wait Listed at Wake. Accepted into Boston College, Emory, Richmond, Wisconsin and Davidson. Doesn’t make much sense.

bbbgirl-get in touch with the admissions office and let them know that Wake is your first choice if you still want to go there. You must be very qualified since you got into so many other great schools. Also maybe ask them if the waitlist is ranked or not.
