NYSpinnerDan: I got in. Didn’t apply for a scholarship, but for the HEOP program.

Internationals who have been accepted, have u received a formal acceptance letter oe just invitation for the scholars program? Because I have heard nothing from them yet.

just the invitation for the scholars programme

Thnx
When I emailed them a few days back they said they will email the internationals by the last week of March, so we may get the decision any day now?
Also is the scholars program for engineers as well?

I just got the acceptance email and fin aid offer which is much lower than my EFC. I’ll contact them but must admit Im pretty disappointed with the offer :_(

where did u get your financial aid offer?

in the email

reject
international

Waitlisted.

If you are interested in remaining in consideration for scholarship funding from Union , please respond as soon as possible, by email, directing your request to: … International Admissions Coordinator. I promise you, in return, that we will apprise you of your status as quickly as we can.

Question:
If I respond that I’m still interested, it doesn’t mean I commit to Union, does it?
I’m waiting for some other decisions to come…

i still haven’t gotten a letter yet and I only live like 150 miles away

@amraa

it means they’ll still consider you, you didn’t commit

ok thx, any advice on how to get off the waitlist and get admitted?
this was my first waitlist

REJECTED – international seeking aid. And the letter was so rude. Congrats to those who got in. Others, hang in there

^what did the letter say that made it soo rude?

Letter came today to northern New England. S was accepted, with very small merit award. He really likes Union, but has very good awards from 2 other schools, so he’ll be OK.

Mossesgetch, yeah, what was so rude in the letter? No excuse for rudeness.

Letter arrived today (we are in Illinois). My son was accepted. Oversized envelope. Good wishes and good luck to all.

if, say, i do get off the waitlist and get accepted, can i get substancial fin aid?
i’m an internation and my efc is very low…

live in maine, not really sure how I didn’t get my letter yet
