RD PLME'ers?

Anyone else apply to PLME?

I applied to PLME.

Me too :)

10char

I’m so excited/nervous! Do you know how many people will be selected?

I think it’s something like 110 were admitted last year, and 55 matriculated to the program.

[Brown University: Program in Liberal Medical Education](The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University)

Wow, 5.5%…

I applied, too! Since they don’t have any PLME interviews, have any of you scheduled an alumni interview yet?

The application was SO long but I put a lot of effort into it so I’m hoping for the best! Good luck to all of you and hopefully we will have good news in April :)

@ferredoxin: I had one already, my interviewer was so laid back and nice. It was almost fun :)

@ batfan: well, it is EXTREMELY competitive!

Good luck everyone!

@ferredoxin, it was my longest application! I’m so glad it’s over. I haven’t scheduled an alumni interview yet.

Why are you guys interested in medicine? I did some research at hospitals, so I’m interested in medical research, perhaps an MD PhD, though that’d be a long time in school…

LOVE this program. Can’t wait to hear back!! I did an alumni interview and it went great (lasted more than 2 hours).

@ilikefoood, me too - in that I also did an alumni interview and am in love with the school. Mine only lasted 1 hour but it’s my favorite interview so far. Only two months to go, everyone!

Good luck to everyone!

5.5% huh? huh?

1.5 months to go!
PLME, I want you like I want Ryan Gosling.
