RD results are out?!?!

Wow. If you guys go to the Georgia Tech's admission twitter, someone posted their acceptance letter from the GT's college of computing!!! (and I applied to that). How come that person got their admission letter 1 week before the release of decisions?!?!

Could he be a transfer student?

It must be a transfer student because freshman do not get a letter from a specific college. GT doesn’t look at which major you put down.

@MichiganGeorgia That makes sense. In that case, is it going to hurt if I solely concentrated on my intended major in my GA tech supplemental essay (while talking about the resources available in GA Tech for my major)?

Hi all,

Transfer applicants won’t find out the decisions till March 15. March 15 is the earliest round.

The letter was addressed to Rick Clark, the director of undergrad admissions. It might be just a sample letter.

@agg999 - I don’t think that is going to hurt your chances.

Sagarmandal is partly right. It is Rick Clark’s letter, but he applied to a computer course or something and got in, not a sample letter
