<p>I was just wonderingm even though we have exceeded 100 people, how many of them consider duke their first choice?</p>

<p>Duke's my 1.0000000001th choice. Not my absolute first choice, but certainly, certainly not anywhere close to a second choice.</p>
<p>It's my first choice, but an unrealistic first choice because if I am lucky enough to get in, there is no way I will get enough financial aid to be able to afford it.</p>

<p>Duke's (tied for) my first choice. It's really convenient because it's an in-state school.</p>
<p>i've been in love with duke since my sophomore/junior year. it's always stood out for me, so it's definitely my first choice. but right now, i'd say johns hopkins is a very close 2nd, as well as washington u in st. louis</p>
<p>its my 4th choice...but i wiil definately be rejected by my top 6 choices anyway, so it doesnt matter</p>
<p>Duke was my first choice for awhile, but I visited Stanford and did the summer college program there and fell in love with in. Got deferred in EA though :(</p>
