RD Thread for Fall 2016

Congrats bengalcat!

Looks like TCNJ is getting acceptances out earlier this year. The approach seems to be a slow drip over two months. Not sure how well this will be received by the kids who are admitted later in the process but I guess TCNJ will get the answer via their yield statistics.

TCNJ admissions tweeted picture that RD letters are ready to be mailed.

Hi! I was wondering if anyone could tell me more information about the Bonner Community Scholar? (Aside from was it is on the tcnj website). So personal experiences or what they’ve heard from other people.

Anybody hear today? According to tweets from the school the first round of letters was mailed yesterday.

One of my friends applied regular decision back in October and got her acceptance letter in the mail this afternoon! @ProudDad1357

My D got acceptance letter today as well!

Just saw my acceptance online!

My daughter just saw her acceptance online!

Son got his packet as well. Did anyone hear about the Honors program, or does that notification come separately?

Got my acceptance in the mail yesterday!!

Got my acceptance today with $5000/yr merit. Nothing about honors in my packet @mtown27.

I got my acceptance today with $3000/yr merit. Nothing about honors in my packet either @jnkam24 @mtown27 .

I didn’t see anything online :frowning:

I applied for Biology but my secondary choice was Chemistry… I am scared out of my minddd

Sorry for the triple posts LOL But where do I stand… (instate)
ACT: 32 superscored
SAT II: 720 Bio-E (only submitted this score)
GPA: 4.1
I go to a well known vocational school
Took 8 AP classes ( and took mostly the hardest classes offered at my hs)

I really am freaking out!

I got accepted too!

Major: Biology
GPA: 3.43 UW and 3.91 W
SAT: 1750 (1160 Math + Reading)
6 AP Classes
No merit, but that’s okay for me.

I got in with a $6,000/year merit award in-state. So excited!

Kinda shocked I did not get any in-state merit award from TCNJ… Definitely a safety school for me.

When did you guys apply? Does applying later diminish one’s chances?

I was accepted too
Major: Biology
GPA: 3.84 UW and 4.24 W
SAT: 2120 (M+CR is 1460)
4 AP classes
A lot of EC’s and I received $8000 in merit aid (instate)
I applied November 24 and i don’t think it lowers your chances but it might take longer for you to get your decision since you turned the app in later
