RD to ED Status Change

Did anyone change status from RD to ED? If so, how long after the status change can you expect an answer? Also did you get a confirmation from admissions of the status change?

I imagine that it would take as long as it normally would. I applied mid-late November and heard early December… However, since more people are probably applying ED now (I know someone who got rejected from his first school ED, and since Muhlenberg’s deadline is so late he is applying there ED now) it might take a bit longer. I would call admissions if you don’t get any sort of confirmation about the status change.

I got my answer! DS got the call this afternoon. Muhlenberg Class of 2014!!!

Congrats mvb…!!and mvb’s son…

Congrats! Wonderful news! Congrats to your son!

great news… congrats!

How do you change from RD to ED?

mry- not sure, but if you call admissions i think they’d be able to either help you figure it out or actually do it for you. Are you contemplating switching your application to ED?

yes i just recieved my financial aid estimate and it is good so i think i might switch to ED

We called admissions and they told us to complete the ED agreement, have counselor sign it and fax it to admissions.
