Hey acceptees, where are you all from?? Anyone from the south heard yet?

congrats guys - unfortuantely i just got rejected. have fun at vassar next year!!!

Sorry, rachie3953 and all others who didn't get in. I'm sure you'll get in someplace you like.

I got in! I'm really excited.

Can you lucky guys PLEASE share your stats?

Sure, bluejay, I'll share
SAT: 1520 (800V 720 M)
SAT IIs: 740 Writing, 740 Lit, 640 Bio E
5/116 Weighted Rank
4.0 UW GPA
Leadership in average ECs

1400 SAT...770, 680, 660 SAT IIs, no ranking, 4.0+ GPA.

bluejay: did you hear?
Anyway,
SAT: 1500
SAT IIs: 800, 750, 740
GPA:3.8 uw in all honors/APs
No formal rank, but top 5% ( I know cause there's this scholarship my gc told me to apply to and it's only for the top 5%)
ECs: Pretty good... chorus, piano, theater, tennis, and a lot of leadership in student government.

Right now, Yale is my first choice, but if I don't get in (I probably won't) then I could very well go to Vassar because I like it a lot. So far I've gotten into Vassar, Haverford, and Oberlin (in order of preference, but Haverford and Vassar are pretty close).

Just got the big envelope, congrats to everyone else!

Okay, and stats...
SAT I: 1510 (750V 760M)
SAT II: 800, 790, 780, 760...
GPA: 4.21 weighted with mostly honors and APs (my school doesn't keep unweighted records and, being parochial, requires everyone to take CP theology courses that kill weighted GPAs)

8 out of 169

Strong ECs focused in the arts.

And I'm another guy from up north (NH, to be exact) and it only took 2 days to get to me, so everyone should be hearing pretty soon one way or another.

D. is waitlisted....which is actually great, because her stats compared to other CC Vassar applicants are low. So I got to call her in Florida and tell her; she was pretty happy; also got into Oberlin today.

Stats:

1350; 700/660/650; #10 out of 250; 4.0 GPA weighted; good ec's; fair essays; great recommendations.

Good luck out there, to all the acceptees!

a mom

1240
3.9 u/w
many extracurrics
won a poetry contest

With humility, I can say that I probably got in because I'm a minority, besides my loaded extracurrics. I'm sorry for all that didn't get in, and I hope that all goes well for you with your other choices.
