-School String and Full Orchestra(audition required). Our Full Orchestra won the state honor competition, so we're the best in the state.
-Played Violin for 7 years
-Volunteering(IDK how many hours, probably around 70)

<p>If your essays are received with the same enthusiasm and appreciation with which they were submitted, then in my opinion you have a solid chance of admission and would rate you a high match - with little better grades you might be considered a match.</p>

<p>Unfortunately (and is the reason why anyone with half way decent stats should always apply to all schools in which they have interest), admissions offices at the elite schools are inundated with qualified applicants (this year will no doubt set new records for applications to Northwestern and the admissions rate will likely drop to maybe ~20%) so they utilize subjectve criteria in order to distinquish applicants. This means you cannot know for certain and will have to sweat out the decision at least to some degree just like everyone else :)</p>
