Last year they notified applicants around the end of March/beginning of April. I understand some people received a phone call from the admissions office, but my daughter received neither a phone call nor an email - just the big envelope during the first week of April. Pitzer was the last school she heard from - and her first choice.

I am so excited and so nervous! It's on my top 3! I really hope I'll get in, but I guess we'll just have to see in late March and April. Good luck to everyone else as well.

Wow, first week of april sounds so late considering some schools have already started mailing out decisions!
Sarsfield, care to share what the acceptance package looks like?

Well, the ed students who got accepted said they received a big orange envelope that has "congratulations" written all over it. So we don't even have to open it to know we're in!

The website said April 1. It seems most of the private schools (except the 2 I've already had responses from) mail decisions on April 1. That give you only a month to go around and visit and make your decisions. April is going to be very stressful for me.

I'm super excited/nervous/anxious regarding April 1st. I've been obsessively researching Pitzer this weekend, and there is no doubt in my mind that this is the school for me! I've read all sort of reviews, and even those who have given Pitzer a "bad" review have made it seem appealing. Good luck to all of you guys, and I hope that we see each other come August :]]

Here's a bit of good news about the college for those who know about politics and are liberal. One of their guest speakers, the year before last, was Cynthia McKinney. It looks like a great place for intellectual liberals. It is seen as the Brown of the West Coast.

I love the relaxed atmospher but am uncertain about it because my major looks better elsewhere. Also, I's the smoggiest place to which I've applied.

My counselor recently talked to Pitzer's admissions office, and apparently they are mailing decisions on March 27th....but who knows if they might change their mind.
