<p>I did ED to Lehigh, but I got deferred. So VT is my second choice. I really hope I get in.</p>
<p>From what I've heard, Virginia Tech mainly accepts students from the higher end of the spectrum and defer those who they consider maybes. This however would change for some majors like CAUS that are really competitive regardless, but what I've been told in state is that Early Decision is sometimes more competitive then regular decision in terms of who gets accepted vs deferred and denied</p>
