<p>I was waitlisted, although I am not sure if they have two waitlists:</p>
<p>The Admission Committee has completed its review of applications to Connecticut
College for the Class of 2009. We are very impressed with your academic and
personal record but our limited funding for international students does not
permit us to offer you a place in our Class at this time. However, we invite
you to accept a position on our Scholarship Waiting List.</p>
<p>Connecticut College received nearly 4,200 applications, and 400 of these
applicants were eligible for our limited number of international scholarships.
Needless to say, competition was intense and the Committee faced many difficult
decisions. We will know shortly if we can extend any additional offers of
admission to international scholarship students.</p>
