Ok, I went here for a year. Got a major injury and needed serious surgery though a medical board was never brought up, but i resigned and recieved an honorable discharge.

I am considering re-applying and whould like to know if anyone could tell me what it's like and chances. I had to take this semster off due to the surgery but will take classes at the community college by me since my spinal doctor is by home I still need to see him. I have known other people who re-applied and started off the year they left, since they completed plebe year. I also had administrative problems though, that were really never setteled and never had a real chance to fight for myself and explain.

I would really like another chance and if there is anything I should do or to expect please tell me. Thanks!!!

Sounds a bit to me like you are asking for our input when we don’t quite have all the facts.

Tell us more about your ‘resigning’ (do you mean you left on your own or were separated by the Academy), ‘medical board was never brought up’ and exactly what were those ‘administrative problems’?

With that information perhaps you will get better input from those here.

No need to air all your laundry with us. No one here is really in the position to advise you on cases such as these which are normally handled one-on-one with the Academy Admissions Office. Call them. Find someone to talk to and handle your case. They can pull your file, access your situation, and accurately advise you as to what to do.

Canster 27: I agree with USNA69, your Regional Commander in Admissions is the person you need to pose this question to. Take ownership of any mistakes you may have made and see if you can work it out. Good luck!
