would it be okay if we just revise our essays from last year?

also, I heard that it is very hard to get into the schools for sophomore year because it only happens if someone from last year drops out. is it really much harder than applying for freshmen year?

I’m not sure that its more difficult to get in but I think it’s probably a little more difficult socially. You’re the new kid around all these other kids who have been living together for a year. But you can always repeat a year.

hmm i think i wont have any social problems… i usually get along with people pretty well

anyone else have any answers to my questions?

Alright, for certain schools they do reserve spots for new sophomores, juniors, and seniors like Phillips Exeter and Andover. Actually I’m pretty sure most of the ten schools do hold spots for new students. It might be harder to get in as a sophomore, but only by a little bit.
I’m a new upper at Exeter and personally, I feel that I’ve had no problems socially. People are very welcoming, especially in a tight knit community. If you live in a dorm, those people will probably become your closest friends.
