Trying to see if i should retake the sat again in december.
I really don't want to...

rank 107/723 (top 14%, decent?)

New SAT: 1870 (cr:640, math: 630, writing:600)
-30 POINTS FROM AUTO ADMIT, sdfuihefnd!
-5.02/6 g.p.a weighted ( i guess 3.7 /4)

4 AP english, 4 APUSH, 2 on spanish language

4 ap classes junior and 5, senior year.

Leadership: SENIOR CLASS PRES., Student leadership team...others hopefully.
Groups: National Honor Society, National Spanish honor society, 3 year basketball team,
kinda part of Red Cross Club, and Recycling Club, 2009-10 student leadership committee.
Job: Best Buy Employee about 12-32 hours a week. 40 during summer
award: 3rd place in engineering, science fair.

recommendation: solid teacher rec, principal rec (have both now)

i'm planning for a business accounting major.

Sounds like you’d be a shoe in with those 30 extra points, but I’d say you have a pretty good chance as a review admit
but if you put that your taking your SAT again on your application, you can send your scores in later and that might just be the leading factor that gets you pushed from rejected to waitlisted (or waitlisted to ACCEPTED!)
hope this helped

I’d say apply ASAP, see what happens and if it’s not what you want, then retake in December and update your file. Ds got in as a review admit (great SAT score, but just out of top 25%) about two weeks after applying. Like you, he had great leadership and ECs, is an athlete, worked, etc. I think you’ve got a good shot if you get in on the early end of rolling admissions.

your GPA is 3.35/4

i think you would probably get in. but apply sooner rather than later like YDS said.

You won’t get into business, but you’ll get in.

So, y’all are saying just go ahead an sign up for the next sat???
but still just send in the application?
Or should i just send in the application with my score now?
please clarify.
