Re-consideration for honors

Is there any reconsideration for honors if your midyear report boosts you up to top 5% of the class?

Does anybody have any answers? Is there an official BC webpage that answers this question?

no

clue

just wait and see, if anything you can be considered after freshman year.

All I can tell you is that my son is a freshman in the Honors Program at BC this year. He was admitted early, but not to the Honors Program. Later (in early May, I believe) he was invited to participate. I'm not sure why he was invited, but it could relate to a review of his later performance as a senior. It seems to me it couldn't hurt to write a letter indicating your strong interest, as that may help you rise to the surface if they look for more people to fill the honors program after students make their final decisions. Good luck to you; the program is wonderful!

i contacted the person in charge of the honors program with this same question. he said that you couldn't be re-reviewed for honors, but you could request to be put on a waiting list, so if you did decide to commit to bc, you would find out (prob in early may as nursemaryanne said) at some point after commiting. i don't think there's anything further you can do other than request to be placed on the waiting list. i sent him a long email expressing a great interest and that was all he told me. hope this helps
