Lets say I finish the BB's practice tests, is it even beneficial to re-do them?

I ordered the new book thats coming out in ten days of so.

Lets say I finish the BB's practice tests, is it even beneficial to re-do them?

I ordered the new book thats coming out in ten days of so.

THere is a new blue book?

yes I think it comes with 10 practice tests.

hey that’s awesome. do you think any of the practice tests on the new official guide are the same ones on the current official guide?

I don’t think so really. I hope not at least >.>

So anyone… if you can answer my question, feel free to anytime :)

I actually recommend going this route rather than doing PR and Kaplan and such, because anyone who knows all the BB problems inside out is not going to have a bad day come test day. And you’ll be surprised at how many questions you got wrong before that you will get wrong again. This way, it’ll force you to look beyond CB’s standardization techniques and really understand the concepts being tested.

Another thing, if I re do all of them, won’t it just be easier because I just knew the answers from previous times?

I second that question as a person who did the BB for 3 times
I actually remembered some of the answers from my memory.

If the blue book practice tests cover everything on the SAT then re-doing it will probably help right?

Right. It’s not so much about taking the tests to get a projected score as it is about analyzing the way CB constructs its questions.

yep, as long as you understand the problems (I can’t stress this enough) you’ll be fine

Are you sure that the new BB will have 10 NEW practice tests? I thought it would only have 3 new ones, and the rest would be regurgitated from the previous edition…

^I’m certain that’s the way it is. I ordered the book so we’ll see…

I don’t think the new Blue Book Official Guide to the SAT will have 10 new tests. I think they’ll bring about 7 forward from the current edition, and add about three test we haven’t seen before. Whether these three are in the seven contained in the $70 On-Line CB course, I don’t know but suspect maybe…
