re-evaluating chances

I always thought i had a solid shot at ND but after being rejected at Gtown, and waitlisted at WashU I want a quick re-evalutation...

SATI/IIs: 1480/790/750/750
GPA: 3.9 UW
Top 5%
decent ec's

president of the class (1450) and one other competitive student (1300s) are also applying from my school

Of course you have a solid shot, but I understand your worry about other kids from your school. 3 have already been accepted early from my school, and I'm not sure how many more they will take. In the past, they have only accepted 2. All of your numbers are in all of the right places, and if you felt good about your essays, you should be fine. :)

georgetown is hard. wash u is weird and waitlisted basically EVERY RD at my school .. people with like 1600s, writers for the tribune, and/or researched with Northwestern, U of C, etc.. were all waitlisted.. so.. don't take it as if you weren't good enough. college admissions is half chance.

waitlisted at northwestern today tooo......argh
