<p>So out of my two teacher recommendations on Common App, one of them did his online (Mr. C), while the other did his by mail. I applied early to a school, and they submitted their recommendations.</p>
<p>But now when I assign these two teachers to other schools, it signals on the screen that Mr. C, the one who did his online, has already submitted it for every single one of these schools. Does his recommendation automatically go to every school that I apply to?</p>

<p>online recs get automatically submitted as soon as u choose the recommender for the school. you dont have to do anything else for the ONLINE rec only.</p>
<p>so if they made any school-specific references can they retract the recommendation or anything?</p>
<p>Helpful Hint - Do not select the teacher recommendations for each school until you are ready to submit the application, and you are absolutely sure you want that rec going to that school.</p>
<p>Once you select the teacher, and once the teacher submits the rec, you cannot de-select it. </p>
