Go Irish!!!
You have almost the exact stats of my youngest and he was accepted REA, also Mendoza. From where I sit, your odds are pretty good. Do you have AP results?
Hi there, thanks for your input.
I received a 5 on all three AP exams I took this year (English Lang, Latin, and Calc AB). Sorry I forgot to mention those. I’ve been to campus several times and have been in contact with my admissions rep several times as well.
If you’ve been in contact with your ND admissions rep several times, then they probably knew you were applying EA, or advised you to, which is always a good sign. I assume if they didn’t think it appropriate, they would have advised you otherwise. For what it’s worth, I think your ACT, AP scores and ECs all look great. I think the GPA is good, maybe not the strongest piece of your picture. But I think you have a very good chance of being accepted. You don’t mention senior year courses, but I assume you took another 3-4 APs this year? ND looks at rigor of senior year courses
You look like the picture of an ND admit to me. I think @waitingmomla is right, if the reps advise you to apply ERA, then your chances are good. I had two kids, both were advised to apply EA, and ERA respectively by their ND rep, both were admitted early. Of course, results may vary. Good Luck!
@Turntwo, both had/is having a wonderful time at ND. It is a great place. My oldest, who graduated 2017, is taking a gap year before her next level of education, but connected right away with the ND alums in the town she’s in, had instant friends! ND family is for life!
Just to help out the future classes, I was deferred. Sorry I didn’t put this in the result thread but I am not really in the mood to type all of this out again.
And by the way to clear up the discrepancy between this and my latest post on the early action thread, my gpa is now a 4.0 UW and 4.08 Weighted with the addition of my senior grades thus far
