@BairnOwl same here, except including Northwestern. Being from Chicago, and being born in a Northwestern University hospital, I have a special place in my heart for that city.

@HinduPowers

Financial aid is huge for me as well. Stanford should be no problem though. However, I’m a bit nervous because I didn’t submit the CSS aid profile on time. I had never even heard of that until I looked at Stanford.

Keepyourshirton: Obviously you have stolen all of the tall genes from the Chinese gene pool because I’m almost a quarter of a meter shorter than you.

HinduPowers: I’m actually probably going to change my common app essay for the next few schools I’m applying to to talk about my shortness lol. One of my biggest regrets is that my Stanford CA essay is pretty cliche, so I’m hoping it was written well at least and that my supplements made up for it.

I’m applying to about 8-ish more, not including 2 that I turned in before December deadlines. But most are reach schools, so there’s a high chance that I’ll be rejected from all of them, ha.

I’m shooting for Stanford, Upenn, Columbia, Princeton, Brown, John Hopkins (reaches), Virginia, William & Mary, Tufts (middles), and Macalester and Minnesota (fallbacks).

… and I’ve only applied to two so far so I’m guessing that number (11) will not stand.

@deepdishpizza, the first few lines of the decision email is just a letterhead. I guarantee you that you’ll have to open the email to see your decision.

If I get accepted I won’t apply anywhere else lol #nostress #easybreezy but if not imma apply to 5 other US schools, 3 Canadian and 2 in my country, Jamaica so yep

im applying to 14 total (stanford included) but if i get into stanford, that list goes down to about 6-7 total (i already applied to 3 other than Stanford, and do 3-4 more if i getinto stanfford)

@deepdishpizza
do what im gonna do on friday, stop data on my phone so i don’t get notifications on my phone…imma wait till i get home and then I will do it…

If I get rejected/deferred I’m applying to Princeton, UChicago, Cornell, Columbia, Swarthmore, UPenn, Northwestern, Tufts, Wash. U St. Louis.

If I get accepted well, I’ll think about it after.

For my US schools: Columbia, Upen, Duke(reaches) Lehigh(middle?) Bentley(safety)

lol i’m applying to stanford, berkeley, and illinois. and iowa but that doesn’t count cause i already take classes there part time

Dangit, someone spoiled the first post on the results thread. I guess the letter we wrote to future applicants will have to be the second post now.

I didn’t see a post, so here it is, some official confirmation:

@killbeefgoham, I’m with you, and I’m going to record my reaction lololololol

No way am I recording my reaction, but I do plan on finding out as soon as I can, no matter where I am, I have waited long enough.
