@Brogrammer17 Never saw it like that. You nipped that fantasy in the bud. And don’t worry, it’s getting to all of us.

I’m really wanting the decision to come, but I feel like I subconsciously want this period of applicatus interregnum to last forever. Right now, there’s a glimmer of hope, a light at the end of the tunnel, an inkling of a chance that we’ll get accepted. Come December 14th, that hope may very well be gone forever, and I really don’t want it to be.

When do Harvard and Princeton Early come out? The REA applicant thread for the two are incredibly active right now, but I can’t find a conclusive date.

Rumor has it that they will be released tomorrow afternoon.

According to my friend who applied to Harvard, it comes out tomorrow. At 5 or 6 PM, I think.

I stopped caring what it actually says, I just want it. I neeeeed it. just to know. I’ve been waiting for this moment since I got into their summer semester. It needs to come sooner!
I’m sure we all feel this way though. I’ve heard of people who have been waiting for years, I feel bad for them. two days is all that separates them from their past and future selves. I deeply hope those people get in, I could live with a rejection but those people…womp.

and yeah i believe they switched it from 3pm to 5pm

In my school, the people who have gotten accepted in to University so far are the ones who applied to the UK (They got “conditional acceptances”). And Stanford and UIUC come out the earliest for the US early admission plans. There’s a lot of pressure on me because a lot of my grade expects me to get in. But there’s so much competition, I don’t think I will… My friend who applied to Caltech got deferred, because he didn’t send his TOEFL scores, while my other friends who applied to Cornell and UPenn are freaking out like I am, but they’re only getting their decisions on Monday (Tuesday morning, here). Basically, I am terrified right now.

Princeton is coming out on Monday… well that’s what my friend told me anyway

I feel the exact same way… Stanford has been my goal for so many years now that I can’t imagine having that dream destroyed once and for all. As excited as I am to finally find out, a huge part of me still wants to keep living in that fantasy world of imagining my future at Stanford.

Goodness gracious this is stressful.

@Bluetyphoon

Where did you see that they switched the time? Stanford Admissions website still says 3pm PST

Brown’s tomorrow. One of my friends applies and let’s hope she makes it

@benjineering
not for Stanford, for Harvard I believe
sorry for any confusion / slight cardiac arrest.

Do they all get sent out exactly at 5 PM PST on Friday? Do they start sending them then? How does it work? And we do get it by email right?

Same, I have a friend who’s been dreaming of Brown for a while.

I’m trying so hard not to succumb to imagining what I’d do if I was accepted.

sitararamesh: Sent by email, although it may take a little bit to receive the message.

Not all them, it says that they will start sending them out at 5pm but if you dont get yours to wait until monday to contact them so i have no idea what theyre doing.

@sitararamesh it’s an email… they’ll start sending them at 3pm PST.

Girlfriend just asked if I’m heading back to bed anytime soon, I looked at my phone and said yeah, in 1 day, 17 hours, 17 minutes and 17 seconds.
Thought you guys could appreciate that comment.

@bluetyphoon hahaha absolutely.
