<p>3 PM PST is 4:30 AM IST on Saturday… I’m setting my alarm for 4 am, taking a cold shower, and I shall open the email at home, while listening to my favorite songs (to calm my nerves).
If I get in, I’m having a party. If I don’t, I’m skipping school on Monday and Tuesday, which are the last two days before my school closes for the holidays.</p>
<p>1 AM here, not quite sure what I’m going to do. I’ll probably stay up till then watching movies, it’ll be hard to sleep though no matter what the decision is.</p>
<p>The more i think about the probable rejection, the more i realize that its gonna really really really really hurt…smh</p>
<p>Does anyone know if they send out email decisions by region? Which regions will have to wait the longest to receive their admission decisions?</p>
<p>It’ll be 6pm EST here in Maryland. I’m waiting anxiously for my son’s acceptance email (no, not rejection, just acceptance!) I’ll be home at 6pm and will budge my son to check his email. I’ll try to record his reaction to it with my phone 
Let’s just hope there will be emails in our inboxes at 3pm PST sharp although I have no idea how realistic that is. Good luck to my son and to all who is freaking our here on CC My son is a very calm person and he is trying not to think/hope about Stanford so that his heartache is less painful in case of rejection. Hope that won’t happen!</p>

<p>@Stanfordman1981, they send most of the emails together regardless of the region. They request people to wait incase emails bounce or are blocked etc</p>

<p>@stanfordman1981 i heard they go by alphabet, but they do it in large chucks but because they are in large chunks, some people will get it way before others…so don’t expect it to be there at 6pm EST/3pm PST sharp…ill probs check around 6:30pm EST</p>
<p>If I get accepted, I’m going to buy myself a new Stanford hoodie for Christmas. If I get rejected, it’ll be a sad sad holiday season.</p>

<p>If my son gets in, I’m taking him to the most expensive steakhouse in DC (we have never been to one) to celebrate. Don’t know what else will follow but I won’t stop at the steakhouse only, I know :)</p>

<p>Although in psych class today, there was a row of three of us who applied REA and we were all clinging to each other frantically and trying not to panic in the middle of class.</p>
