<p>Is the rejection email text different from last year’s? It looked pretty unfamiliar to me.</p>
<p>@Aegise add me to that list. I wasn’t seriously considering CMU at first, but I was doing research and saw they had a Music and Technology degree in their CS department, which is awesome. I heard the social life of the school is depressing, but it’s bloody Pittsburgh. Know if you do the interview for CMU first?</p>

<p>Deferred. Don’t really know how I feel about it. On the plus side, they pointed out that the acceptance rate for those who were deferred is around 15%. On the minus side, my mother will never forgive me, and I have to somplete a tonne of apps now.</p>
