Is it any good for the Math IIc test? Is it too hard or too easy? Post any thoughts on the matter. Thank you

I don't know about Rea but if you buy meylani's book and barron's book along with the real sat II book, you'll do fine (750+) Also, sparknotes has free online prep and 3 practice tests if you log on a different people (because your first practice test is free).

is the REAL SATII subject test book for each individual subject or does it have all subject tests in one fat book?

thanks

I believe it is one fat book.
What's "meylani's book?"

One fat book. 15 realistic tests for the math level 2 subject test. A little harder than normal but real good practice. BUY IT!!!!!!

the meylanis book isnt available on amazon though.. apparently, it'll be available only from september onwards..

Really? I bought it from amazon! Mabey they just ran out. Try barnes and noble and other book stores.

not available in barnes and nobles either :

That sucks...but just because it's not online doesn't mean that they don't have it in stores. Call your local book store and ask them if they have it/can order it. This book is a need.

which barrons book?

Barron's how to prepare for the math iic. Do an amazon.com search.

A certain edition? I was wondering how often the level 2 test is modified, if at all.

I checked the Meylani book and amazon has one. But Barnes and Nobles apparently has one coming in later. So are their two editions?

There is only 1 edition of his 15 realistic tests. Make sure you get those and not his 10 realistic tests (no solutions) because they were modified to reflect the test better. There was no modification from IIC to level 2 at all so if you have to get the 10 tests, it's better than nothing.

Well, the two versions (one available now and one due to be published) have different ISBNs.
And yes, I am checking the 15 version and not the 10.

EDIT: the one on amazon was published in april, the one in B&N will be published in september

Also, what are the reputations for Kaplan, SparkNotes, Gruber's, and McGraw-Hill?

Well get the one published in April (duh)! Kaplan was good but there were SO MANY MISTAKES (mainly in the algebra part). If you can deal with mistakes, why not buy it? Sparknotes is good and online for free. McGraw-Hill isn't published yet and don't know about gurber's.

ahh found it on amazon..:

REA 2C will be helpful only if you do all the tests in this book.

Rusen Meylani.

Don't agree. I would not waste my time on REA. VERY unrealistic.
There are some very books on sat ii math prep out there.
search this forum for advices.
