<p>I know that getting into stanford is difficult, but which would be "easier," or in other words, which group of admitted students have lower stats than the other?</p>
<p>That is a common topic on many admissions blogs and in general, the answer is that the profiles of EA/ED/RD are similar. Though I have seen at least one blog (blanking on where I read this) that said the profile of the early applicants accepted is stronger since applications are up and a lot of the students who are well qualified know they have a better shot at their first choice school if they are applying early. </p>

<p>The groups you aren’t eligible for - athletes, URMs, developmentals, faculty kids, legacies, celebrities. Everyone else has to get in with the same top stats. If you have those top stats, it’s probably easier to get in REA, but even 36s get rejected REA.</p>
