Reaches? Matches?

<p>Posted this in "College Search", but I figure this forum may get more traffic...</p>

<p>Hi, I am a Senior and I have looked heavily into BC. Neither of my parents went to college (blue collar) and I am Caucasian. I go to a public school also, and I want to major in political science (pre-law)</p>

<p>SAT I:
Overall-1990
Math-610
Verbal-710
Writing-670</p>

<p>SAT II:
Literature-540
U.S. History-630
Math II-610</p>

<p>ACT: 28</p>

<p>AP History: 3</p>

<p>GPA-3.93 (unsure as of now)
Class Rank (7/353)</p>

<p>Classes: All Honors and AP all 4 years
Senior year-
AP Psychology
AP Spanish
AP Calculus
AP English
H Physics</p>

<p>EC:
Literary Club-Secretary
Interact Club (like Rotary)-Secretary
Debate Team (disbanded last year-little $$$, no supervisor)
Baseball-all 4 years</p>

<p>Misc.:
National Youth Leadership Conference in D.C.
Boys State
Rotary Club Student of the Month for October '05</p>

<p>Here is my current list:
BC (applied)-high match, low reach
Northeastern (applied)-safety
UCONN (app. almost complete)-safety
BU (RD)-match</p>

<p>Can anyone suggest possible reaches or matches?</p>

<p>Cornell, you might reach for. I'd retake those SAT IIs</p>

<p>you're only looking for a big university setting?</p>

<p>I'd say Cornell is a super-reach, though he would have a better shot if he retook his SAT II's.</p>
