I'm afraid that if I take it, I will do worse. I was expecting scores much lower. I guess I should try it anyway. poo.

I would highly disrecommend someone to apply ED if they ever asked "Where should I apply ED?". Its kind of like asking "What's my favorite flavor of ice cream?".

another thing to consider is financial aid. if you're going to apply to fin aid, ED might not be a good idea because then you won't be able to compare fin aid packages at diff schools. best of luck.

yeah, I know, but I care more about just getting accepted to the school I want to go to. Thanks Mathwiz. As if I haven't gotten enough crap for saying that as it is.

Applying RD isn't the end of the world. Most schools would give you the same decision if you applyed RD rather than ED.

Also, consider EA. Its just like ED, but it isn't binding.

Mathwiz, there are plenty of schools that separate ED, EA and RD pools, and ED has many advantages at high caliber schools (vanderbilt is one that i know of). Im in a similar situation, and I want to apply to a school where ED will give me the greatest advantage. And It's not like asking what's your favorite flavor of ice cream. what the hell.

Well, I'm glad somebody understands.
