I'm looking for a medium sized or medium small university or LAC that is urban, or has easy access to urban areas. I'd like to stay in the northeast. Currently I'm thinking Brown, Barnard, and maybe Bryn Mawr, but I'm sure you guys may have some better ideas.

Thank you in advance!

its surprising that u didn't get into a place like Barnard or Bryn Mawr straight out of high school.

My high school lost my file, and didn't tell me. So, when I asked them to resend the supplement to BMC (because I got the "we're missing part of your application letter), they said they would, but couldn't.

I only know because when I finished some applications to my safties (due in March) and went to get my letters of reccomendation and other things to submit, there was nothing. I had to regather everything myself, and figured they misplaced it submiting other things. Then I was wait-listed at BMC, called them, and found out it never got there :(

I guess that's what happens when you go to a high school where less then 50% go to any college at all, and the guidance office is understaffed.

(I was also rejected from Oberlin, but everything got there because it was submitted online)

And that is why I'm transfering. I'm pretty sure BMC's a sure bet, and I was told by and Oberlin adcom that if I applied there I would get in as a transfer. But after being stuck in the middle of nowhere in a tiny school with heavy drinking, I changed my ideas of what I wanted.

Holy Jesus, that's the saddest story I've ever heard.

I think you are in at Brown, go luck! How about Vassar?

Bump!

I'll look at Vassar, thanks!

Another bump.
