<p>Does Princeton read its applications based on region? If you're from an underrepresented state, will you have a better chance of being admitted? or does Princeton mix up its applications and not care about which region they chose from?</p>

<p>Yes there are regional admissions officers that handle the applications from that reason. There's a check and balance system though, so it's not like the regional admission officer wields absolute power over his/her region's applicants.</p>
