Read and critique my Common App essay please?

<p>Hi, I'm a junior and I just started writing my Common App. Well, actually my AP English Lang & Comp teacher assigned it and I wrote my rough draft at 2 am on Sunday. I think it turned out decently, but I want you guys to take a look at it. Feel free to ask as many questions as you can (over PM) and to be as harsh as possible -- I'm sure I have plenty of places in my essay I can improve. Make sure it's constructive, though.</p>
