well I asked my teacher to sign up for macroeconomics AP during Feb.

and guess what?

yep, my exam is in 2 days (1 day and 8 hours to be exact) and I haven't done a SINGLE thing, apart from reading 22 pages of Barron's unemployment and GDP section. (no exaggeration!)

but for some very strange reason, I'm overly confident that I can achieve an easy 5 on it by spending tomorrow's night.

I also have my microeco. exam where I kind of slept throughout most lessons. At least I have firm knowledge about the market structures...

Well, spending one day studying a semester worth of college course. This should be pretty interesting. Seriously... its past midnight now and the fact that I'm hanging around in CC proves my confidence.

its not that hard... dude seriously... you can pull it off but u better skip school and study 10+hrs a day for 2 days straight thats the only way cuz there is a LOT of stuff to cover... MC is 70% ... essays can be bsed fairly easily to get partial credit but you must nail the MC and alot of it is wierd one of questions (that are about indepth stuff)

btw a thing about random guessing lol:
one time my AP Hist teacher ran my History test through the AP Econ key, however i still managed to get 83% correct ... higher than alot of people in our class that is a very very odd occurrence no?

Attitude is 50% of the battle for the 5.

And since you only need like 60% correct on most AP tests to get a 5, it looks like you only need to get about 10% of the points from actual testing. Looks like you've got it made.

you'll do fine man, just skip school tom, study, and you'll be fine, i studied for all my ap exams the day before i was confident about each one after taking it. Wake up at like 8am, get some coffee or something from dunkin donuts, sit down and just read all the way through, and remember bold words, just say them to yourself. Remember, it's not called cramming, it's called studying a little bit later than other people.

btw make sure you keep that attitude, it's more than 50%, it's not called ignorance as some other poster mentioned, it's actually how you get around in life and what the real world is like, a lot of people don't understand the importance of a positive persona and confidence, although that sounds mundance and cliched it's the plain truth.

Anyone who labels someone else a "friggin n00b to social skills" probably has some social skills issues of his own.

However, tlkqf2002, I can get more confident than you, because I'm doing the same thing - except that I am doing both exams tomorrow as "self-study" tests, it's 5:13 on Wednesday night, and I haven't studied at all. The biggest difference is that I wouldn't start a thread about it.

you are not selfconfident in being self confident so you started a thread telling every one you are selfconfident...because that boosted your selfconfidence...which you needed because u didn't have selfconfidence which why you posted the....oops infinite loop.... sorry

you're about to get pwn3d lol; obviously you aren't confident at all if you had to make a post claiming how confident you were in the first place to trick yourself into believing...

I reside in Fl. The school pays for my exams :D

hmm... maybe you guys were right; but I was feeling very random after trying to absorb 20 pages of Barron's microeco. section and decided to post this thread.

Its now 8 hours and 39 minutes till the exam and my heart beats slightly above normal and I've only covered 25% of macro so far. I took a long 5 hour nap after school and plan on studying the whole night.

Good luck people and remember, over 10% of the AP economics exam takers get 5's. Over a quarter (in fact over 30%) gets a 4. argh... MSN is luring me again. Bye people. 8 hours and 30 min to go now.
