i’m thinking of sending in a scientific abstract as a supplementary, but due to a mix-up with forms, i was unable to enter it in a competition and therefore it couldn’t get any awards…should i send it in anyway? i think it’s written pretty well

please reply with any advice, it’s due today.

bump...please ans....

If you think it makes you stand out, sure.

I wouldn't send it in...it's like sending in an unpublished article. It's useless--they have your grades, ECs, and recommendations, which most likely demonstrate or explicate your ability in science. Unless the abstract details a cure for cancer, I wouldn't send it in.

well im in the process of publication so i did...wont officially be accepted for a month or so, so i sent in mine.

but if yours isnt important or anything, i doubt you should

Personally, I don't think it would hurt. On the other hand, it might not even be looked at or help much either, but if it's good, it could impress.
