<p>Hello, looking for someone to take a quick look at my college essay. I'm looking at really competitive schools, and have the grades and SAT scores, but I am still a little worried about my essay. <p>Greetings everyone! Nepal Education Forum (NEF) was initiated this year by a group of Nepalis (who graduated from colleges in the United States, Australia, India, and the United Kingdom). We are currently involved in many programs in the education sector, and of particualr importance to this thread is NEF’s Guidance Counseling Program. If you haven’t already heard about NEF, shoot an email to Nepal.educationforum@gmail(dot)com and we would be glad to update you on our counseling meetings/seminars. You can also request an appointment with one of our counselors. Two of our counselors will be holding a talk at USEF, Gyaneshwor on November 6th (3 PM).</p>

The worst thing you can do about application essay is to show it to more than one person and try to incorporate their different opinions.
I would suggest you to show your application essay to only two person</p>
<p>1) English teacher/tutor
Ask him or her only to check grammar portion of your essay, not your idea and
presentation.</p>
<p>2)Anyone else
Give them your essay to read and after reading it ask them to write what they came to know about you, your skill, your characteristic etc
If they just reply that the essay was good but they cannot write more than 1 skills and characteristic about you, then its time to edit your essay</p>
