<p>Thanks for the compliments, but after writing 18 more college essays, I can def. say this was one of the worst. Good story, bad idea for an essay. Newyorka said it best…write about yourself!</p>

<p>i applied recently to the dartmouth bound program, and @nicolenhs, it is very rude to call someone an idiot for trying to help others and receive criticism. it takes guts to type up your entire essay into a blog and ask for suggestions and comments. This blog helped me in preparation for my application to dartmouth bound, and though I have yet to hear if I got in or not, if I do, this will definitely will have been one factor that helped me do so.</p>
