I've written two essays; one based on my experience studying abroad and another about...well, tea. Weird, I know. But I've worked hard on both, and would like some opinions. My essay about studying abroad was considered good by most of my teachers, but one person almost thought it sounded like the beginning of a romance novel...Not knowing how to take that, I kind of edited it around and made a new copy.

So, is anyone interested in reading drafts 1 and 2 of my experience abroad essay and my tea essay?

"bump" means posting again so that the thread can "bump" up to the top of the list and be more likely to be seen and responded to again.

"10char": the system requires that each post have at least 10 characters. If one does not have 10 characters worth of things to say, one may put in "10char" to get up to the minimum.

I know you've read previous essays of mine ADad (particularly the tea one), but would you mind reading a new one I've written on my experience abroad?

just to be honest, im from the class of 08. but i am writing my essays about my fathers death. im also a senior member. i promise i wont steal your essays. but if you dont feel comfortable i understand.

Same as Andrea: I'm in the Class of 08, so I understand if you don't feel comfortable. I promise I won't steal your essays & I'm applying to completely different schools than you (UCs, UMiami, UT - Austin, Tulane, USC (Yeah, I like sun! Haha)). I'm adopted, so I wrote about my experience growing up as an adopted child in an interracial family. But, if your interested, I think I can offer you an international view on your essays. If you're interested just PM me. No pressure! Either way, best of luck! =]
