Hold on, hold on...
This sort of reminds me of the 'Accepted and with a 1700 score!' thread... A lot of the people who responded to the thread-starter tried to, out of jealousy, deflate his/her happiness. What those people had in common was that they did NOT get accepted. And they showed their ignorance through low-blows to the fact that he/she had a low SAT score, and such. Their jealously was the product of their arrogance; they thought that they were all high-and-mighty, and how dare someone with a 1700 get into Stanford when they themselves FAILED. Had they thought that maybe, just maybe the Stanford Admission Staff could read through their gilded words and see the arrogant people beneath?
Geoffrey... Your manner of writing seems to make that very plausible. The way you insult someone, and refuse to admit your wrong, and then go on to use longer and longer words so as to intimidate those trying to show you right...

Maybe Stanford will see through you, too. And, ProjectStanford, don't feel bad. You did what you wanted to, and that was to help someone competing with you for Stanford to try and have a better chance to get in, even though it may have negatively affected you.... I think that Stanford will take someone like you.

Are we cool now? It seems I just wrote my personal essay here lol
