<p>I've told a few people what happened to me but I keep seeing all these random threads where people are asking 'i'm scared i didn't make the EA deadline' or 'i applied in october and don't have a response yet' and so on. So I figured I would just make a thread about this.</p>
<p>I applied Oct 31 and everything updated before the eleventh; however, my recommendations updated on WA on Nov 30th. I was a little confused about this, but not really worried because I had called in twice during November asking why they had not yet updated. Both times I was told that I was fine and they had my recommendations. The last decision batch, basically everyone I knew from Texas who applied EA got their decision back. My stats are pretty good, so I started to get pretty worried at this point. I decided to just ask if I was ER. I figured I probably wasn't because I submitted my testscores from collegeboard Nov 1 and thought they didn't get to Mich in time. So I got online and asked on the livechat thing if I was ER. The chat rep said no..and when I asked why, she claimed my recs had just gotten in. She said everything was sent on time but my recs had only been received like the last week of November ... </p>
<p>So I got on my email and pulled up the email from embark that said my recs were sent in Oct 20th and Oct 31...and told her they were both before the ER deadline. She told me to call in, and after talking to a few people michigan was basically like 'my bad' and turns out I was right, everything was sent in on time. They changed me to ER.</p>
<p>Moral of the story is, if you don't think you made ER or if you have yet to get a reply and you applied EARLY (This means before Oct28th, at this point), or your stuff on WA took a long time to update, I HIGHLY suggest you get online and ask if you're ER on the livehchat thing. Clearly, they made mistakes. If I hadn't of called in, I probably wouldn't be receiving a decision for the next few months..</p>
