tbibbs did you appeal to usc your senior year in high school when you applied before?

no, my stats weren’t up to par and i didn’t think my appeal would be successful. I mainly spent my high school career focused on baseball and I didn’t realize how competitive college actually was until it was too late. Only half way through my junior year did I start to focus on my grades, but I have had straight A’s ever since. But my girlfriend appealed and got in and she is a freshman right now at sc.

“Other Factors, hook?: Extremely personal letters of recommendation for appeal”
Who can the recommendations be from for the appeal?

Letters of recommendation for the appeal can be from: a teacher who can verify your grade improvemnt and how well you will do in college, or someone in charge of a comminity service project in which you really shown, or a Counselor who sends an email on your behalf etc. Make sure these letters of recommendation are new and compelling.

i got that transfer option and i’m not legacy nor do i have any inside connections. so if those were your theories please toss those in the bin.

xsangster -
to my knowledge, all applicants that have legacy and are not accepted get invited to do a trojan transfer plan, but there are also other select applicants that get it as well.

Hmmm thats strange i thought it was only for legacies…maybe they choose their applicants then…
