Reading and Comp. Classes

AP scores just came out and I found out that I received a 4 on my Lit test. That was very surprising. I expected to get a 3, as English is probably my weakest subject. (Well, it's probably math. :P)

So with that in mind, I had always expected to take an A for the R & C requirement. But now, I find that I can skip the first half. However, since I want help with my English, should I still take an A course or should I just skip to B? I was planning to take German r5a (or any other themed English class) because I heard it was easy. So would it really help me?

Also, I want to be premed and I guess I need one year of English so should I take both A and B anyways?

If you are premed, you need both R&C courses. For premed, easy A courses are recommended. However, if you want help with your English, I recommend a course that challenges you. these courses are English, Rhetoric, Comp Lit, etc.
