Can I answer all or some line reference questions without reading the whole passage?
I'm asking because most people say to answer questions WHILE reading to prevent yourself from forgetting information. I don't really want to waste that much time going back to questions after reading the whole passage as well.

I’m actually with you - I find answering questions while reading to be distracting and more time consuming than just reading the whole thing then going back. It certainly is possible to answer the line reference questions without reading the whole passage, but I really only recommend that if you’re in a major time crunch. My strategy is to do a quick read through of the whole thing, then hit the questions. I know I’m going back to the passage anyway, so I just want to get the gist of it on my first reading. But if you’ve got other ideas that seem to work for you, do it. One size doesn’t fit all as far as the SAT goes!
