Reading Comprehension

I think a lot of the strategies that suggest, in the reading comprehension, that say you should do the specific quesitons first then the global questions without reading the passage fully at all are a bunch of crap... I like kaplans method, where you read the passage and take notes and then do the questions is so much better... It was able to raise my test score from a 540 (using princeton review) to a 650 right now (using kaplan) and I'm not taking the SAT for like another 9 months so I'll raise it over 700 by then...

but the Kaplan stuff is really easy, I get 2300+ with that book and get 1900s with the Barron's and the other books; it's not a good way to measure your abilities.

No, I'm taking it out of a book you buy at barnes and nobles, its a test that comes with the CLASS that you can't buy at barnes and nobles... The test is in a book just like with the real SATs

maybe. but I still don't like Kaplan, and I tried the stuff in there and none of it worked (I guess it depends on the student and what he/she is more comfortable with)

you like princeton review better?
